Open new transparent canvas 400 x 400

Selections, Select all

Open Texture, copy and paste into selection

Effects-Image Effects-Seamless Tiling

Repeat but change Horizontal Direction for Vertical Direction

Repeat but change Vertical to Bidirectional

Change the Blend Mode to Overlay

Add new layer

Choose two colours for your Background and your Foreground from your Texture

Change your foreground to Gradient and choose Foreground/Background with these settings:

Angle - 145

Repeat - 3

Style - Linear

Flood fill your new layer

Arrange, Send to Bottom

Change the Blend  Mode to Lighten

Maximize your tube

Copy and paste as new layer onto your canvas, resizing if you need to

*I used a coloured tube for this tutorial and just reduced the Hue and Saturation to 0*

Effects - 3D effects - Drop Shadow with these settings:

Change the Blend Mode to Luminance

Duplicate your Texture Layer

Open "Selections_bymalu"

Selections /Load Save Selections/Save Selection to Alpha Channel... Save...Ok.

Selections/Load Save Selection/Load Selection From Alpha Channel...

Selections/Invert. Hit delete on your keyboard

Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds with these settings:

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow with the same settings as before

Effects/FM Tile Tools/Simple/Blend Boss - Default settings

Deselect

With your Text Tool, type your name using these settings:

Swap your Foreground and Background colours

Vector - Highlight LET - Size 48 - Kerning -375 - Direction

You may need to adjust the size of your text while in Vector layer depending on how long or short your name is

Convert to Rastor Layer

Add same Drop Shadow as before

Change the Blend Mode to Luminance

Layers - Arrange - Bring to Top

Maximize Butterfly Tube - Copy and Paste as new layer onto the top right corner of your canvas

Add the same Drop Shadow as before

Merge all visible

Save as Jpeg
