Larry Ball
It is with regret that we announce that Larry Ball, founding Chairman, and later President, of the Leicestershire and Rutland Area, passed away on 10 March 2009.

 

WRITE OF WAY

The Editor of Write of Way welcomes any articles or snippets that may be of interest to other walkers. Epics or dramas on walks, amusing anecdotes, bits of information about wildlife, the countryside and the environment: everything and anything is welcome.

In addition he will feature at least one photograph each edition so, if you have a good snap of somewhere in your group's area or of some interesting trip you have been on, send them in and he will pick out the best of the bunch.

Material can be posted or sent electronically (with the subject being "Ramblers") to Roy Denney. (The email address is his name with no spaces, and he has a hotmail address.)
