We now have a mailing group! Just e-mail the Duck make sure the subject is "join group" (This is important! My hotmail filter will sort mail with this subject into a folder so that I know who to join up)and any additional info in the message. Also, if you're already a group member, e-mail the Duck with your message make sure the subject is "group message" and I'll send it to everyone in the group (or not as the case may be, but if this would be the case it will be distributed after editing) so you can advertise your games etc. It is a possibility that we will allow uploads- email us and give a brief description of your game, possibly you can send a demo with your mail (SMALL demos only!1MB or less)

Now, if you don't know what Rm2k is, it is RPG maker 2000. It allows you to make RPGs! But you don't have to know a programming language like BASIC or C#! It's great fun and really easy, and it is FREE! You should get the latest version of the programme and the RTP, which is REQUIRED!or the programme won't even open! We will not give information on this site about how it can be obtained, but it can be found easily just by searching.

once you have these, you can try to work out the programme, or find some tutorials on the web, but very soon we will have something set up here whereby you send us an e-mail and we reply with a set of tutorials to take you through the stages, from complete beginner to, well not masters, 'cos I don't think we can claim to be masters, but we'll pass a lot of useful stuff to you. This is about a wizard who takes over a group of trainees, to find the kings jewels, it's great.(Suuure it is- the duck)I will roast you it will make you go quackers

I am the duck, and I do not feel I deserve to be roasted. I'll have animal welfare monkeys on you!OK, I guess I should talk about my current projects:

• I'm working on the game I first made called "into the dark" but since I did not actually know how to use rm2k properly for most of this games development I say screw it, I have better projects to work on. But maybe someday i'll pull this off the scrap heap and fix it with my new knowledge of the program- the first town is a tiny little hamlet I made before I knew properly about map making (It measures 100x100 and the houses go off the edges!)and I made the second member of the party before I knew what switches did, and was forced to use a very clumsy method of making them disappear... the list goes on and on, and I was probably stupid to continue with what was supposed only to be a small learning project.
• L2, as the current full team project I am obviously working on.
• A project where I am working out how to create various field skills. Many of these have been inspired by Golden Sun, e.g. the one i'm working on currently is like the cloak ability-you can hide, but only if you're standing in shadow/long grass, and guards won't see you. I also plan to do abilities such as sand(GS2), fly/teleport(pokemon, GS2...many RPGs). This will be one of the easiest skills to make, really, really easy)...if anyone else has any skills they reckon I should do contact me, make sure the subject is "skills" and tell me what the skill is, where it's from originally(or a skill you have made up yourself), and precisely what it does. I need a name of some sort too, so I can mention you in the credits for this resource. When I have enough skills in this I will zip it up and upload it.
