Hello!

Welcome to the Ravenscroft Consort's website.  We are a group of musicians who have been getting together to play and perform Early Music for more than 15 years.

We are based in Ipswich, and meet to rehearse for concerts, which we present in our local area, and further abroad. 

We enjoy joining forces with other instrumentalists and choirs to play large and small scale works, and are always keen to find new opportunities. 

We particularly like working with smaller choirs, where the introduction of instruments can greatly add to the texture and sound of the choir, as well as extend the range of music available for performance by the addition of obligato instruments. Of course, we can provide consort instrumental and vocal music to add variety to a complete concert.
