 Aray Software have released an updated version of their popular protection scanner.
Aray Scanner 2.0.1.0 brings improvements in detecting the most commonly used copy protections found on the PC games of today.
The full change log as issued by Aray Software is;
Removed wrong StarForce Keyless (I will check it later)
Added Better skin support
Added detection of SYSIPHUS
Improved SafeDisc scan
Improved StarForce scan
Improved JoWooD Xprot scan
Fixed Well maybe few bug fixes I really don't remember.

In Copy page, when the working folder is at a location that no longer exist's, the working folder is reset to the default (my documentsBlindwrite)

A very nice CloneCD update which now includes support for SafeDisc 3 Protected Games! It also includes some tweaks and some minor fixes.
CloneCD 5.0.2.1 2004-09-16
- New: Workaround for SafeDisc 3 blacklisting
- New: Can now emulate SafeDisc 3 weak sectors
- New: Can now copy SafeDisc 3 protected DVDs
- New: Can now copy SafeDisc 3 protected CDs
- New: DVDs can now be saved as .iso files
- New: Silent Mode for installer (option /S)
- New: NEC (and compatible) DVD Writers will now write DVD+R Dual Layer with booktype set to DVD-ROM
- New: Added DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW to "Hide CDR-Media"
- Fix: Single drive DVD copy
- Fix: Write Speed setting for DVD media

Daemon Tools Updated to 3.47 |
|
|
 Daemon Tools has been updated to version 3.47. Fixed a few things, especially that nagging problem that affected a few people trying to update to Windows XP SP2, it shouldn't be an issue anymore.
It is a hotfix-version to adress the latest issues
(especially the atapi.sys-lock with XP SP2).
ChangeLog for V3.47:
Fixed lockup with some images containing bad sectors made by Alcohol (MDS)
Fixed Nero InCD formatting problem with DAEMON Tools present Fixed atapi.sys locking problem (as a result, some emulation ability is removed for PCD5 until new release).

 Elby have released Clone DVD 2.4.3.1
This is the 2nd public release by Elby this week.
The official change log is;
Fixed file corruption issues.
Although the change log is minor, it is recommended that everybody who downloaded version 2.4.2.7 should upgrade immediately due to a problem which was coded into 2.4.2.7.
A bug implemented into the software would cause video playback problems such as stuttering and skipping.
This update fixes these issues.
