the winner is...Golf Professional Gavin. Gratitude
to Cheryl for her graciousness.
3. World top ranking and defending
Champion, Retief Goosen wowed Members
at the Singapore Skins Golf Championship November
2003 at the Tanah Merah Golf & Country Club,
Singapore. Winning US130,000 he beat
Annika Sorenstam, Jespa Parnevik & Local Pro
Lam Chih Bing. The birdie putt at hole 15 alone
earned him US110,000 while Lam picked up the
US15,000 final hole skin. With Goosen having
pulled out of the World Cup Golf South Carolina
with Ernie Els earlier and Annika's talents winning
many hearts, it was a spectacular show ! Excited
Kang Wee, Raquel & gang 'feasted' in wonderment,
nudged by the big crowd.

Come Golf With Me!
Come, golf down the exquisite lush fairway with me
Inspiration awaiting by the tranquil South China Sea
Pars, birdies though elusive and fleeting oft can be!
Radiating ecstasy - what jubilation is then for thee?
To hell with power, raging war, the greed for money
Forever to share this infinite golf bliss with only me!

Poem
Come Golf With Me!
This was composed by Captain Sue being inspired by the
spectacular panorama of the fairways along the tropical
shores of the South China Sea. Bathed by the salt sprays its
swaying palms adorn the tricky narrow doglegs which are guarded
by numerous bunkers and ponds! Putting in the cool morning
breeze to the idyllic sounds of the waves is
exhilarating! |
