This site is the English-language sister site of the original French website "La Sacrée Grolle". It has been created to allow word of The Grolle to be spread throughout the English-speaking world!
I first discovered The Grolle on a visit to the French Alps several months ago - needless to say, I returned home with one and we have been getting ourselves further acquainted ever since!
On this site, you can find out what The Grolle is and how to use it. You can view our photo galleries if you want to get more of a flavour. If it looks as good as it should do, there is advice on how to get yourself your very own Grolle.
All of our recipes to date are available on this site, and extra recipes will be added as they are discovered! Once you have your own Grolle there is also the opportunity to let give us your feedback on our recipes, and even to let us know of your own recipes. All recipes sent in to the site will be credited to their creators.
20 March 2007 - I've finally started to update the site. First thing I've sorted out is the links to "La Sacrée Grolle", so that the site pops up in a new window, rather than in the main frame. A small change I know, but it was really irritating me! I've sorted out the contact page too, so that people can at least shout at me for not progressing things quickly enough! I've completed the basic recipe for the grolle, and will add a few variants to the recipes page. I've also changed the url to www.grolle.co.uk, although you can still access it through the old url - indeed, the search engines still pick up on the old url (they take months to update!)
17 December 2006 - It looks like most of you are dropping by trying to find recipes for the grolle. I'm in the process of moving over to a new server, so once that's done I'll get off my lazy butt and post a few!
15 May 2006 - It seems that this site is pulling in a lot of visits, so I guess I need to get round to finishing it at some stage! I'll try to get it completed sometime in the next few weeks, but in the meantime, thanks for visiting and call back soon! Y'Ol Shanester
