What is The Grolle?

This is a grolle....
	....and this is how to use it!

Basically, it's a little wooden vessel with a lid and several spouts (a bit like a wooden teapot but with more holes for pouring). The grolle is filled with a mixture of coffee, fruit and, most importantly, various strong alcohols, and then drunk via the spouts.

The grolle lends itself to social occasions (picture native Americans sitting around their tipi with a peace pipe and you get the idea).

Just get some mates round, whip up a grolle and hang back. I discovered The Grolle in the Alps, and it is fantastic on a cold night when you've had some friends round for dinner or to play cards.
