Personality: Quieter than her twin sister, Drysi is considered to be the more stubborn of the two.

Skills and Abilities: Possesses D'Riel conduit but this is dormant at her current age. Has inherited a strong ability for dark magic from her mother. Can shape-shift into raven form.

The daughter of Y'Roden D'Riel and Arianne (Silverthorn) Badb Catha, and the elder twin sister of Yseult, Drysi has been brought up first in Corin and then in S'Hea after her parents succeeded to the throne, and it is on Whispin that she has spent most of her life. Following her parents's divorce, Drysi withdrew into herself slightly, the girl feeling insecure and unsettled. In the months that followed this has improved, but she is still likely to panic if the stability that has been achieved threatens to be removed from her.

With her brothers and sisters, she currently divides her time between her father's home in S'Hea and the Blackthorn Keep on Aerdon where her mother now lives. She is most often seen in the company of her twin sister and her half-brother, Rhagi, although the presence of other children in the Palace and Keep nurseries ensures that this is not completely exclusive.

Drysi possesses a bright mind and great academic ability, but like many academics she is not always possessed of practical or social skills. Her shyness inhibits her in gatherings of large numbers of people she does not know well, and she is notorious for crashing into trees in raven form, mainly because of her tendency to get distracted by other things.

It is perhaps not surprising given her family that Drysi has also begun training in both magic and weaponry. Whilst her conduit will remain dormant until puberty, other forms of magic are still available to her and her mother has been training both of the twins and Muirne Badb Catha in the use of dark magic since the age of six. Drysi has also begun to acquire knowledge of the use of daggers, and has show an interest in the use of the staff.

• Drysi has a pet red draeder called Phish who was given to her by Shadow Silverleaf.
  
• Drysi and Yseult are identical twins in terms of general physical appearance, but possess dramatically different colouring.
