Welcome to the B.M.S website... The Barnsley Magical Society is a relatively new one, having been in existence since 1997. We hold fortnightly meetings throughout the year, where we aim to learn, demonstrate and have fun with all kinds of magic (close-up, stage, mentalism etc.). |
During the year our meetings cover a variety of topics:-
- In-house lectures
- Dealer demonstrations of the latest magic available.
- Topic evenings - such as card magic, coin magic, rope magic etc.
- Brainwave sessions whereby we try to create new effects from a variety
of props.
- Auctions, table top sales and social events.
The Society is open to anyone aged 17+ who has an interest and ability in magic. If you would like to join the society, you can get more information by clicking Join B.M.S (above). Here you will be able to download the necessary form to fill in and mail to us.
