Just a way to identify us – there’s 4 of us – Simon, Justin, Gary and Steve.
As we are building guns and sensors and other devices for Lasertag, we decided to give ourselves an identity that’s separate from the groups we’re usually associated with when playing Lasertag.
We’re still part of those groups, and we’re also Splinter Faction.
Simon does the electronics, wiring and circuit design – he’s in charge of the soldering iron.
Justin does the gun and sensor casings, drilling and cutting holes to fit switches, circuit boards and batteries inside the gun bodies and sensor boxes – he’s in charge of the drill and screwdriver.
Gary does the software inside the microchips on the circuit boards – he’s in charge of the binary 1’s and 0’s and bourbon biscuits.
Steve does other stuff, brings along Jaffa cakes, organises and co-ordinates the One-Day Events at Wickham.
Between us, a miracle happens and we make Lasertag kit that not only looks good, but it works too!
