Hello there. I have just bought myself an Automatic Weather Station and am now trying to do a website for it. The square with the rainbow at the top of the page gets updated every 15 minutes for temperature and wind readings whilst the big picture at the bottom is updated every hour. If you want live and historical data then click on the My Live Weather link on the right of this page and this takes you into the Wunderground database for pretty pics and graphs. I am getting there now but have not a clue how I managed to FTP certain things across and I expect there will be a few further hiccoughs along the way. I hope that someone out there may find it useful and/or interesting. As you can see the whole page is very messy and I'm no expert so it will take me a good while to try and tidy it all up a bit now I suspect but hey.....I am learning by the day. |

Apart from being an amateur weather enthusiast I am very much into sport of all kinds....I love football and in spite of being rather old I am still an active Cricket player - being 1st XI Captain of my local club this season (2006). |

I won't go on about my friends and family. If I can help others with anything about setting up an AWS etc then I'd be happy to help you. Just e-mail me. I have an Oregon Scientific WMR928NX (Wireless) and bought it from a German shop through e-Bay and they were very helpful. See the link above (if you can understand the lingo - I couldn't but recommend you use http://babelfish.altavista.com/ an excellent translation tool. The biggest trouble I had was persuading my ever youthful wife to climb onto the roof of the house and place the anemometer on the TV aerial pole...what a wonderful woman (well I'm afraid of heights you see !). You'll be pleased to know she got down safe and I shan't be letting her up there again..........well, unless it breaks of course :>)
