Teach-me Tuition Service  was set up in June 2002 to meet the growing demands for private tuition in Bedfordshire.  It is run by Dr. Samina Rashid - this is how it all started:

I was a full time science teacher at a secondary school in Bedford and left to do a PhD in Chemistry.   I still loved teaching but didn't have the time to take on a part-time position in a school, so I did some private tutoring in the evenings and weekends.  I was teaching Maths and Science to GCSE and Chemistry to A level.  I soon became an established tutor with a good reputation.  As my skills  were very much in demand, I was having to turn pupils away.  This led to the realisation  that more tutors were needed, but equally so, tutors who were passionate and enthusiastic and who truly loved teaching, like me.  And lo and behold "Teach-me Tuition Service" was created! 

All teachers on our register are keen and enthusiastic, and are encouraged to make learning something to be enjoyed rather than endured.
