Blondie's full-length video album Eat to the Beat will be released on DVD for the first time on June 26th. The two-disc set by EMI will feature a digitally remastered CD of the original platinum-selling Eat to the Beat album and a DVD with all twelve music videos. A pre-order link will be announced soon. Seventeen years after the last tour by The Cars, two
of its seminal members [are] ready to hit the road this spring in the form of
The New Cars. Joining The Cars' original guitarist Elliot Easton and keyboardist
Greg Hawkes will be vocalist/guitarist Todd Rundgren, fellow Utopia
bassist/vocalist Kasim Sulton and former Tubes drummer Prairie Prince. Newly
inducted Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, Blondie will ride shotgun with The New
Cars. The tour promises to be one of the biggest musical events of the year.
