The Wonderful World of the Piaggio Ape

This is  Hairy Mark showing off an engineering project  from a couple of years ago- a Piaggio Ape that he  converted to take an espresso machine . He has since had a hand in the construction of several more of these and they can be seen selling coffee under various liveries throughout the South East of England. As he does not actually  drive the vehicles , they have so far managed to remain in one piece - as far as I know!

In the background you can see the bonnet of the Reliant Robin van that Mark was driving around  at the time. Sadly, it blew up a couple of weeks after this photograph was taken. RIP blue Robin!
