During the day there will be Comic Characters supplied by Mr Gerry Cottle of

Wookey Hole Caves.  There will also be a bar, and a bar-b-cue.


The auction is aiming to raise money for the Somerset Community Foundation

who will administer it for the benefit of the Mendip Communities.  The Foundation aims

to help the young, the elderly, and the needy.


The auction is being kindly supported by The Blue School,  Mid Somerset Newspaper

Group and Orchard FM.  Other organisations supporting the auction include the Mendip

Lions, Freemason's, Rotary Club, several Chambers of Commerce, and many large

companies.

The Mendip Mayors and Councillors have been invited together with numerous other

dignitaries.
