- The landlocked
county of Nottinghamshire is most famous for the
legend of Robin Hood and his Merry Men, though other
history is rife throughout the area. The oldest public
house in England, The Jerusalem Inn, can be found here
(along with its phantoms), and the Goose Fair found in
the county town of Nottingham is one of the oldest and
largest in Europe. The county’s small size (840 square
miles) is reflected in the fact that only a few
entries exist within the pages of the Paranormal
Database.
