Trish Rapley Giles is a qualified teacher of, and Teacher Training tutor for, the Josephine Wise Academy of Arabic Dance (JWAAD), an organisation dedicated to gaining wider recognition for Arabic dance and improving its standards. Trish teaches occasional workshops and taster sessions on request, as well as teaching workshops for JWAAD at the twice-yearly Fantasia dance festivals in London and at the annual JWAAD Summer School. Trish is a well-known soloist on the UK scene and is a member of the Masriat Dance Company; her main interest lies in bringing the dance to a theatrical setting and is co-founder of the Habena Dance Company with Margaret Krause. |
