Harry Langdon, The Fourth Genius? Started out like some of the great comedians, in Vaudeville. In 1923 he went to work for Mack Sennett, after Sennett he worked with Hal Roach at the Famed "Lot of Fun"!When sound was introduced to film, it seemed to make some film star's careers take a nose dive.  This is what happened to Harry Langdon, although he did go on to make films in the 1930's, almost at the same time as Buster Keaton's early sound film's.    Harry was great friends with Stan Laurel and he worked on some later Laurel and Hardy film's.
