Sketch: |
| College professor is ousted from his
job for diddling around with students. He gets a new
job at another college, where he begins rummaging
through the mail of a former tenant, and is charmed by
love letters from a woman named Lydia (Nastassja) who
happens to be in prison for murder. Subplots ensue,
too numerous to explain. The gist of the movie
revolves around the question of whether or not Lydia
is really guilty of murder/can she be trusted.
|
| Is she in it much? |
| Practically the entire film.
|
| When should I watch out
for her? |
| Near the beginning,
all the way to the end.
|
| Well known co-stars: |
| Lots...Peter Coyote and Fairuza
Balk, Ernie Hudson, Jeremy Piven, and even Pauly Shore
|
| And
is it any good? |
| Not really. For such a first-rate
cast, it flails around miserably...after an
interesting start. Production values are strictly
Grade B. Nastassja supposedly dyes her hair black
about midway thru the film, but it's perfectly obvious
to all that it's just a cheap wig.
