Welcome to the official Vagabond Hearts website.  Vagabond Hearts is dedicated to promoting glam, sleaze, goth, punk and rock bands.   Based in the UK, Vagabond Hearts was originally a printed 'zine which quickly built up a worldwide distribution not to mention a worthy reputation for it's thorough, well thought out in-depth interviews. Regular subscribers can be found in Australia, Japan, USA, Canada, Sweden, Spain, Finland, Belgium, Italy and Germany as well as the British Isles.

After many long hours burning the midnight oil and sweating at times what felt like blood and tears, five printed issues have been lovingly created by yours truly, Editor, writer, photographer, promoter and general dogsbody. A virtual flyer of all the bands included in each printed issue can be found here.

Every issue is made up of between 60 and 92 pages all crammed with exclusive interviews, live, demo and album reviews, tributes, photos, club reports and much, much more. Dogs D'Amour and Quireboys fans, this really is the 'zine for you!  As well as the cream of the crop of bands taking the scene by storm, Blighty's finest Balladmonger, Tyla, together with the other ex-Dogs' new projects and Quireboys spin-off bands always feature in every issue ensuring Vagabond Hearts really is a bit of what you fancy.

Strictly limited copies of most back issues are still in stock. However, since the majority of writing and designing is carried out by just one person, due to ever increasing work commitments coupled with intensive studies, Vagabond Hearts will, for the time being at least, be web-based. That's not to say that it won't return to it's original format in the future - I'll always prefer printed 'zines personally - but for now, unfortunately this isn't an option. Never say never is my motto though and I have definite plans for a very special issue which will go to press at some point. More about that later ...

Vagabond Hearts may not be produced as often as some other fanzines but quality will always count more than quantity in my book and if Tyla et al can work in "Dogs time", then so can Vagabond Hearts. Obviously, this site will be under constant construction but Vagabond Hearts webzine will be updated weekly so check back regularly.
