Tournaments Details For Season 2007/ 08

The dates for this year's end of season tournaments at Powerleague are
confirmed as:

Sunday 4th May: Inters and Mains
Don't forget it is £2.50 per player for each team taking part and all players need to
be registered by 9.30am for a quick kick off at 10am, so it is advisable for players
to be at Powerleague for around 9.15am.

Rules 2007 / 2008

DUE TO THE EVER RISING COSTS OF HOLDING THESE TOURNAMENTS THE 
LEAGUE ARE REQUESTING A SUBSCRIPTION OF £2.50 PER PLAYER.

NO STUDS OR BLADES ALLOWED JUST TRAINERS AND ASTROS.
SHIN PADS MUST BE WORN.

NO SLIDING TACKLES.

• All Games 5 minutes each way.
  

• Independent Time keeper.
  

• Referee only Adult allowed into Court.
  

• Only Goalkeeper allowed into D, he is not allowed out of it.
  

• Goalkeeper can only use underarm throws.
  

• If Goalkeepers team step into D, or Goalkeeper steps out
  Direct Free kick 1 meter from D line, where infringement occurred.
  

• If opposing team step into D,
  Throw out for Goalkeeper where player stepped in.
  

• Back passing allowed.
  

• No height limit.
  

• If the ball kicked out of court.
  

• The team that kicked the ball out give advantage to opposing team by
  the ball being given to Goalkeeper to throw out.
  

• If ball stuck in court nets = Drop Ball.
  

• RED Card for any swearing or racist comments.
  

• Normal Rules apply on pitch.
  

• All free kicks Direct.
  

• All Junior players must be accompanied by Parent/Guardian .

JUNIOR 7 A SIDES TOURNAMENT ON SUNDAY 23RD APRIL

The Winners and Runners Up in each age group were as follows:

Under 8s Winners Emerald Greens and Runners Up Yellows
Under 9s Winners Light Blues and Runners Up Scarlet Reds
Under 10s Winners Scarlet Reds and Runners Up Royal Blues

Inters under 11s and Mains under 13s 5 a sides on Sunday 30th April

Inters under 11s: Winners Royal Blues and Runners Up Scarlet Reds
Mains under 13s: Winners Scarlet Reds and Runners Up Yellows

Inters under 12s and Mains under 14s 5 a sides on Sunday 14th May

Inters under 12 Winners Maroons and Runners Up Royal Blues
Mains under 14s Winners Light Blues and Runners Up Maroons
