Important notice
As you know there are only ten 'Golfer of the Year' Competitions and these are now pre-paid
with money in a SENIORS envelope in the box.
Sometimes players are putting there names up on the list and putting money in the box days later.
But occasionally monies have been going missing or being mixed up with other competitions.
To improve the situation would you now please put the money in a Seniors envelope in the box
before you put you name on the list. We hope this method will resolve any problems in future.

INTER-CLUB MATCHES: The following guidelines in conjunction with the Captain's discretion will apply in respect of team selection for the above.
1.Teams will be selected from members who participate in senior's competitions.
2.Preference for selection to play in Away matches will be given to members who support Home fixtures.
3. A selected team member who has not ticked his name three days prior to the match to confirm his availability will be replaced by a reserve.
4. A selected team member should inform the Captain or Secretary as soon as possible if he is unable to play.
5.Team members should endeavour to arrive by 8.00 a.m. for Home matches.
If a player intends or anticipates that he will arrive later, he should make the Captain or Secretary aware of this situation the night before if possible.
6. Failure to turn up for a match without prior notification to the Captain or Secretary is totally unacceptable and is embarrassing for both the section and Captain.
Unless there are unforeseen circumstances that justify a team member not to arrive for a match,
he will not be selected to play for the next three matches. Also, he will be expected to pay for the lunch.
7.Reserves are expected to honour their commitment to the team. It is not an acceptable practice for a reserve to cross his name out without advising the Captain or Secretary.
8. If the team were put in the embarrassing position of a member not turning up for a Home match, it would be expected that if a reserve were available somewhere at the course,
he would make himself available to play for the team. However, the reserve will not be obliged to stay for lunch.
Should a reserve decline the invitation to play without an acceptable reason, he will not be eligible for selection in the next three Away matches.
9.Team members are required to wear the Club colours. Jim Waker, Seniors Secretary
