Paulo Abel do Nascimento (1957-1992) Comes from a poor family in Fortaleza/Brazil, he finished his studies as a composer and conductor in the city of São Paolo (Brazil) where Roger Cotte had the opportunity to appreciate this unique voice. Later on he relocated to Europe where he took up singing lessons,. Being a special voice due to testosterone insufficiency which prevented the normal change in his voice during puberty. This was the first case of a Natural Castrati. Later on he died from AIDS in the city of (Paris), Paulo Abel do Naciemento sung the repertoire of the Baroque ,also different cantatas and Arias.                                            

 

His range is: f - f'' (F3 - F5).
