March 26 2002 - The American Film Institute are to release a new edition to their 'Directors' series of DVDs featuring ZAZ. The 60 minute documentary will feature interviews with ZAZ and clips from their movies. To buy a copy from Amazon.com click here.

29 September 2001- spokesmen from each of the main DVD houses got together at Studio Day where it was announced by the man from Paramount that a mid-2002 release date was planned for Top Secret!

August 2001 - Hot Shots/Hot Shots Part Deux DVD was deleted because the publishers accidentally put a PG rating on the cover. The films are both rated 15 and it is illegal to publish incorrect ratings. Cheers to Chris Marron for this news.

JUNE 2001 - July's issue of Total Film ran an article on lost classic movies. Included in the Top Twenty was ZAZ's Top Secret which they called 'Nonsensical, essential and -sacrilege alert - funnier than Airplane!'

MAY 2001 - DVD REVIEW magazine have reviewed the Region 2 releases of Naked Gun, Naked Gun 2 1/2 and Naked Gun 33 1/3. Giving all three discs 3 stars.

In May's issue of Empire, to celebrate the release of AIRPLANE! on DVD in the UK, the regular Classic Scene, was taken from the movie. The magazines reviewer also gave the film 5 stars and called it 'the mother of all spoof movies'.
